The Owen Britton Sunflower Tribute fund
Owen Britton was born on May 01, 1999. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.
He was runner up this year at to the Scottish Schools Young Writer of the Year 2016 and was due to find out the week after he passed away. http://www.scottishreview.net/ScottishSchoolsresults23a.html
The piece only took him under two hours to write which just goes to show his natural talent. He was also a keen debater and his school held a competition in honour of him. The theme was "is intelligence hereditary?"
Owen excelled academically and was applying to Cambridge in October. The money he won for the piece he wrote is being used to purchase a debating cup which will be handed out eachyear at an award ceremony
